Jogo Backpack

This highly detailed, hand-sewn, one of a kind Jogo backpack was commissioned on behalf of Viz Media, and consumed an entire month of my life.

The head is constructed from a chunky grey suede, with nappa accents. The straps are heavy duty cowhide, finished with beeswax. The eye and volcano are hand painted with Angelus leather paints, and protected with several coats of satin-finish polyeurethane to prevent cracking.
Lined in hand-dyed batik print cotton.

Whilst I do my best to make practical, durable items, please bear in mind that this is primarily an art piece. Carrying large, heavy items will cause stretching and deformation over time.
